1963 Austin-Healey BJ7 Concourse Gold Medal winner.
This Old English White convertible, with black interior has had the same owner since 1987. It underwent a frame-off restoration that was completed in 1992.
At the Louisville Conclave, in 1993, this car was judged by the Austin-Healey Club of America to be a Gold Level car. Since restoration, this car has been well maintained, and lightly driven (approximately 5k).
There have been a few reversible concessions to drivability made since the restoration, including:
72 spoke Dayton wire wheels
period correct wooden sport steering wheel
electronic ignition
spin-on oil filter
stainless steel exhaust. (The original pieces, other than the exhaust, are included in the purchase.)
This is one of the most perfect examples of a BJ7 in the country. It would easily cost $75,000 and two years wait to build a car of this quality. It is offered to a good home at $65,000.
